The perspective of the research was mixed, due to the fact that descriptive and correlational statistical calculations were carried out, being positivist, and the interpretation of the quantitative results is qualitative, being relativistic, being the experimental design, without a control group and with the phases of pre and post test. The results showed that the majority of students in the pre-test were at the lowest level in the indicators related to the precision of the variables and the coherence between the various aspects of the investigation, and subsequently the existence of an important growth in the generation investigative skills. It is concluded that the application of an organizer of research ideas systematized in a spreadsheet increases the investigative skills of postgraduate students of professional administration careers.
