Resumen
The main objective of this study is to diagnose the current situation of logistics management, specifically in internallogistics, during the agricultural export process of a company in the Lambayeque region. It also identifies the problems in this process and provides improvement options for optimal management. It presents a quantitative approach with a descriptive scope and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The technique used was the survey and the instrument used was a questionnaire that was divided into 13 key components of internal logistics. Likewise, a non-probabilistic convenience sampling was used since those collaborators who perceived relevant information for the research were selected. Finally, it is concluded that the company achieved an overall Internal Logistics Index (ILI) of 87.53% with a margin for improvement of 12.47%, which can be considered as an optimal performance, but with options for improvement by applying strategies derived from the reviewed literature, mainly in the lower performance components, such as coordination and communication (76.13%),storage (84.10%), planning and control of materials (84.10%) andpicking/packing/packaging (86.10%).
