Resumen

There is a limitation for doctors in being able to visualize the veins in the forearm of some patients for many main reasons, such as the depth of the vein or excess body fat. Although there are several technologies developed in the field of medicine, there is still no system that accurately detects the distribution of the veins of the forearm, limiting them to applying the venipuncture technique that could lead to repeated continuously since it is not efficient to visualize the veins, which in turn can generate inflammation in the skin or damage to the bone. as well as a hemorrhage that can complicate the health of the patient, generating pain and discomfort since it is a technique that is not efficient to administer injections, therefore, it is necessary to develop a system that allows detecting the distribution of veins in a non-invasive and effective way. In view of this problem, in this article an automatic vascular detection system was performed for patient care in the face of a vascular intervention in the forearm part and to be able to visualize the subcutaneous veins of the forearm that in most cases with the venipuncture technique it is difficult to visualize it accurately. Through the development of the system, a 98.79% efficiency was obtained in detecting the distribution of the veins taking only 10 seconds, likewise, it was observed that its operation does not cause pain or bruising in the patient's forearm.
