Resumen
In the development of communicative competence, deficiencies are evident, attributable to student disinterest in their learning and the use of traditional passive teaching strategies. The sample consisted of 284 students for the diagnostic purpose of demonstrating the existence of the problem under study. The research adopted a non-experimental design and a quantitative approach, processing the collected data using SPSS V26 software. The results revealed that 66.90% of students failed to develop reading comprehension. Similarly, difficulties were identified in text production, specifically in coherence (59.8%, 170) and spelling (59%, 169). Given this situation, a motivational strategies model was designed based on the foundations, principles, and techniques that guide its implementation, relying on the commitment and effort of teachers and the management team.
