Resumen

This research responds to the problem about the existence of the relationship between institutional licensing and quality of university service, in students of the last cycles of the Universidad Católica Sedes Sapientiae-2020. Through a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental and correlational design, a sample of 368 students was studied. Two nominal scale surveys were applied: the institutional licensing survey with 39 items, and the university service quality survey with 40 items, both self-made. It was possible to determine that institutional licensing is correlated with the quality of university service, according to Spearman's correlation of 0.952, representing a positive, strong and highly significant correlation. Then, it can be affirmed that the students of the last cycles have a high level of perception about institutional licensing, represented by 66.6% and in the same way about the quality of the university service, represented by 86.4%.
