Resumen
The primary purpose of this research study is to determine the relationship between institutional environment and professor performance at a public university in Lima (Peru). A basic-type study is developed with a correlational descriptive level and a non-experimental design. The population consists of 3130 university professors. For selecting the participants, a non-probabilistic convenience sampling is applied with a sample of 130 individuals, to whom questionnaires are applied virtually. The results show that the institutional environment is favorable (45.4%) while teaching performance is fair (46.2%). There is a high positive level (r = 0, 807). Communication, motivation, trust, and participation are directly and significantly related to teaching performance, with a moderate degree of correlation. It is concluded that there is a direct and significant relationship between institutional environment and teaching performance. © (2024), (Centro de Informacion Tecnologica). All rights reserved.
