Resumen
This work aims to expose and explain the work of Yat Malmgren regarding the analysis of the dramatic character and then apply that theoretical framework to the analysis of the character Nina Zarechnáia in the play The Seagull by Anton Chekhov. The theoretical framework is made up of the six inner attitudes and the four variants corresponding to each attitude. The objective is to demonstrate that this type of analysis has been little spread but is very effective. We will resort to a bibliographic review to present the model of inner attitudes and then establish which of them Nina experiences throughout the play. We will see that, in the first act, Nina is a revealed mobile; in the second, a stable receptive; in the third, a diffuse daydreamer at first, then a dominant daydreamer; and in the fourth, a remote altruist.
