Resumen
The contextual factors that impact employment bring with them a problem that substantially overshadows the results of social well-being in Latin America. Factors such as labor informality in the productive sector are a persistent shortcoming that exceeds official figures. In Peru, 71 out of every 100 jobs are informal; these dynamics describe the realities of the promoted State model. The objective of this research was to analyze the impact of informal workers in the productive sector, considering structural, social, and cultural causes. The literature indicates that these causes are generated from structural and institutional perspectives; however, these factors overlook a concomitant element that, from a communications perspective, is consistently sustained: the latent message, which constitutes the cultural element. The analysis methodology is a systematic review, building on different perspectives the causes that sustain analytical shortcomings of labor informality in the productive sectors over time. The results show that public regulations on labor matters are not complied with for structural and institutional reasons with latent cultural foundations, concluding that as long as the approach does not explicitly consider cultural values and only shows economic indicators, the material proposals will have a superficial character. © Licencia de Creative Commons Atribución 4.0 Internacional (CC BY 4.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.es
