Resumen
The present research aimed to establish the influence of EI on the EA of EBM students, Durán-Ecuador 2025, formulating as a hypothesis that this social skill significantly influences EA. Methods: To achieve this objective, a basic methodology was used, a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design, a causal correlational type and a cross-sectional design, establishing a sample of 129 EBM students from a simple random probability sampling, who were surveyed with valid and reliable instruments. Results: The findings showed that the EI of the students was mostly medium (47.3%) and low (31.0%), with a visual and kinesthetic EA predominant in this group, whose preference is greater as the level of EI increases. Conclusion: The study concludes by rejecting H0 and accepting H1, based on multinomial logistic regression, with a Chi-squared value of 74.598 and a significance or P-value < 0.05 in the likelihood ratio test, demonstrating that EI significantly influences AD, although the Wald statistic showed that this influence is not significant in visual AD.
