Resumen
In the world, there are a lot of old hospitals that have been built without considering seismic-resistant design standard. These essentials buildings must maintain their functionality during and after a seismic event. That's why, it's so important to adopt non-linear models that represent the appropriate behavior of the structural elements and the structure. Also, to develop seismic analyzes that can capture the behavior that these structures would present before a seismic event. This research proposes a non-linear model of 60 years old hospital with 3 levels of masonry handmade bricks. In addition, the incremental dynamic analysis was developed for 11 pairs of seismic records and IDA curves for both orthogonal directions were reported. The results show that the proposed calibrated model is valid for use in the development of nonlinear seismic analyzes, also structural responses such as drifts and acceleration at different levels of the infrastructure.
