Implementation of the Mecabebos Vehicle Monitoring System and its influence on a Transportation company Lima, 2023

Resumen

The main objective of the research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Mecabebos vehicle monitoring system in a transport company in 2023, with the purpose of reducing accidents. A quantitative approach was applied and the Hypothetical Deductive method was used for the analysis. The results obtained highlighted that the implementation of the vehicle monitoring system achieved a significant reduction in the incidence of accidents in the company during the period studied. A positive correlation was observed between the use of this system and the improvement in road safety, evidencing its positive impact on the prevention of road incidents. The most relevant conclusion of the research was that the adoption of the Mecabebos vehicle monitoring system proved to be an effective tool to mitigate accidents in the transport company, highlighting its importance in promoting safety in transport. © CISCI - Simposium Iberoamericano en Educacion, Cibernetica e Informatica 2024.
