Resumen
In recent years, various industrial sectors have shown continuous growth; However, in Perú, the agricultural sector has not evidenced such development because small-farm farmers have maintained with traditional systems without implementing new practices in their working method and in the maintenance of their equipment. The project's objective is to improve the productivity of the farm under study located in Pasco-Peru, since it presents a productivity level 18% below the standard, which has led them to outsource 20% of their demand, causing losses of profitability equivalent to 12.9% of its annual turnover. For this reason, a production model has been designed based on Standard Work and Autonomous Maintenance techniques under a 5S approach, which is validated using the Arena Simulation software. After the validation process, the farm under study managed to increase productivity by 17% and reduce outsourcing costs by 80%. Finally, it is expected that this model can be transferred in other small farms in the coffee sector that present similar problems.
