Resumen

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the use of GeoGebra software and the academic performance of students at the Evaristo Galois School in Cañete, Peru, in 2025, in linear functions. To this end, a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational study was conducted, based on theoretical foundations regarding the use of GeoGebra as a technological resource for teaching mathematics and its impact on academic performance in learning linear functions. The study also formulated the hypotheses and variables, specified the methodology, sample, and data collection instruments, and analyzed the results, which revealed strong, statistically significant, and positive correlations between the use of GeoGebra and academic performance in linear functions, as well as in the dimensions of conceptual understanding, graphical representation, and problem-solving. However, due to the non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design, the findings should be interpreted as statistical associations and not as causal relationships. Finally, conclusions and recommendations were put forward aimed at strengthening the integration of technological resources in the teaching of linear functions.
