Resumen
Transformational leadership has been shown to have a significant impact on organizational culture, promoting individual employee growth and the organization’s adaptation to a dynamic environment. The objective of this study was to evaluate how transformational leadership impacts the organizational culture of employees at the Vice-Rector’s Office for Research at the José Faustino Sánchez Carrión National University in Huacho, Lima, Peru. The methodology employed was a quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental design that included a pretest and posttest, with an experimental and a control group, with an explanatory scope. Forty employees were selected through non-probability convenience sampling, divided into two groups of 20 employees, each of whom completed a 20-item questionnaire. The results, analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test, showed that the training program significantly impacted (p = 0.012) the perception of transformational leadership in the experimental group, with an improvement in organizational culture. In conclusion, transformational leadership has a significant, positive effect on organizational culture, particularly in university settings, promoting innovation, teamwork, and a positive work environment. © Licencia de Creative Commons Atribución 4.0 Internacional (CC BY 4.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.es
