Resumen
This study examines the influence of a program based on interaction through virtual forums on the ability to write expository texts in high school students of a public educational institution. Adopting a quasi-experimental design and using quantitative methods, two independent samples, control group (CG) and experimental group (GE), each composed of 40 students, were compared. Expository writing performance was evaluated using a validated rubric. The results showed significant improvements in the writing of expository texts in the experimental group, with an increase to 85% in the level of satisfactory achievement, and statistical significance confirmed by the Mann-Whitney U test.
