Resumen
The study proposes an experimental investigation to enhance the production of argumentative discourses on gender violence through the use of podcasts among fifth-year high school students. The theoretical framework is based on the competencies established by the National Curriculum in Communication, highlighting the importance of orality and writing. The role of the podcast as an auditory technological tool facilitating respectful interaction and confrontation of ideas, especially on sensitive topics such as gender violence, is underscored. Experimentation with a podcast for argumentative discourse on gender violence revealed differences between an experimental group (35.71%) and a control group (67.86%). Lack of clarity in persuasive purposes and absence of question presentation affected both groups. An evaluative rubric focused on grammatical aspects and stance assignment was implemented. Lack of connectors and deficiencies in organization limited discourse quality. The null hypothesis was rejected, showing a statistically significant difference between both groups. The incorporation of a podcast program benefited the experimental group, demonstrating improvements in specialized terms and textual structure. Cultural adaptation and students' perspectives were also crucial factors in assessing the program's effectiveness. A longitudinal study, comparative evaluation, and expansion of evaluation dimensions were recommended for a comprehensive understanding of the podcast's impact on students' argumentative development.
