Resumen
This study analyzed the impact of training on quality management at SGS Pisco using a quantitative, basic, and explanatory approach, employing a non-experimental design applied to a sample of 20 workers in the fuel handling area. The problem centers on gaps in compliance with international standards such as ISO 29001 and the need for a specialized workforce to mitigate risks in high-complexity operations. Linear regression results showed that training explains 65.65% of quality management ($R^2 = 0.6565$). Specifically, the development of technical competencies was the most influential factor with 72.50% ($R^2 = 0.7250$), followed by content relevance with 56.17% ($R^2 = 0.5617$) and frequency of instruction with 41.55% ($R^2 = 0.4155$). In conclusion, personnel training strengthens operational safety and standardization, validating that technical skill enhancement is the critical support for reducing errors and ensuring efficient processes. Therefore, it is recommended to prioritize specialized technical programs to boost institutional sustainability and efficiency.
