Resumen
Peru is the second receiving country for the Venezuelan population in the region and is home to approximately 1 500 000 Venezuelans (ACNUR, 2023). This process has presented challenges in relation to the adaptation process, both for migrants and host communities. Due to the above, this article is oriented to understand the migratory phenomenon from the relational dynamics, delving into the interactions between migrants and Peruvians. For this, it is analyzed how in this new framework (migratory) the subjects reconfigure their identity by assuming a different social position based on their subjectivities and the meanings they build around the other. The phenomenological method was used as a guide to investigate the perceptions, fears and feelings around the migration process. Through in-depth interviews and surveys, the relational dispositions built in the context of migration and throughout the life trajectories of the subjects were tracked. In addition, the transformations-reconfigurations in identities were analyzed, especially in migrants. © (2024), (Universidad Nacional de Colombia).
