Resumen
The ichu is an interesting material for its applications in construction engineering and composition of new materials, and textile application, construction, packaging, automotive, aerospace construction, medicine, among others. The study evaluates ichu as a sustainable material in thermal insulation, through a systematic review of Prisma methodology, of indexed articles of impact, the selection was subjected to thematic analysis, metric and hermeneutic text. The use of ichu has a constructive approach due to its low thermal conductivity, and the authors promote its use in rural houses as measure against extreme cold. The ichu as an insulating material proves to be sustainable, in terms of renewability, production cost, carbon footprint and impact on biodiversity.
