Resumen
The present research carried out in the Chupaca channel-Huancayo-Junín, was developed using 2 simulation software: IBER 3.3.1 and HEC -Ras 6.5, seeking to know the behavior of the water flow in the rectangular channel, modifying the slopes from 0.0096 to a steep slope 0.01, for different conditions: a) normal conditions, b) reduction of screed, obtaining the following results: despite changing the slopes from a strong one to one under normal conditions, the flow of water does not leave the channel. Despite the 29 cm slab variation, the water flow does not leave the canal, which does not lead to the conclusion that the water flow for normal and steep slopes is maintained within the Chupaca irrigation canal. With a maximum reduction of the slab of 0.29 cm, the water flow for normal and steep slopes is maintained within the Chupaca irrigation channel. The conclusion From the hydraulic modeling of water flow in the Chupaca canal, despite having a maximum sill reduction of 0.29 m (0.95 ft), for normal and steep slopes, water flow is maintained within the canal.
