Healthy Cookies for Adults Made with Freeze-Dried Coffee and Pisco to Improve Health Deficiencies

Sotillo Castro J.; Yataco Valdivia C.; Algoner W.C. · Proceedings of the LACCEI international Multi-conference for Engineering, Education and Technology (2023) · DOI: 10.18687/leird2023.1.1.575

Resumen

The Healthy Cookie Project is an academic endeavor to create an innovative product by applying previous studies in project management, plant layout, economic engineering, operations planning and control, occupational safety, and health. Healthy cookies for adults made with freeze-dried coffee and pisco are targeted towards individuals over 18 years old. The goal is to produce nutritious foods that can help address health deficiencies and remain affordable within the framework of the basic family basket of goods. Furthermore, due to their high nutrient content, proteins, and vitamins, as well as the studies conducted by the National Federation of Coffee Growers and the representative of Besuto Corafull, who specializes in the development and sale of freeze-dried coffee and the antioxidant properties of pisco, we anticipate that these products will be well-received by our target audience and become a part of the daily diet of adult individuals. Likewise, we expect to see growth in consumption and acceptance among individuals interested in improving their dietary habits by incorporating these products into their daily nutrition.
