Resumen
Products derived from granadilla, such as the processed pulp of this fruit, represent one of the main sources of income for producers in the fruit-growing areas of Peru. In addition, within the market of this product there is a high competition and a clear lack of machines dedicated exclusively to this process for this fruit, so that if small producers want to be at the forefront of the industry, they are forced to reduce labor and production time and not having a machine that meets their requirements, they opt for other types of pulpers specialized in other fruits. In this context, the idea of carrying out this research of basic or pure type and of mixed approach arises, where the main objective of this research is to design a pulping machine specialized in granadilla using a system of blades and separation by gravity. The machine has a knife system for tearing the fruit in which the peel is separated and then passed through a vibrating screen to separate the fiber and seeds. Since it is a semi-automatic process, it will be able to satisfy the needs of producers and small industries. The non-experimental design is done through the use of Autodesk Inventor software; this is a program that allows to design and simulate in 3D, it also has collaborations with other programs such as AutoCAD, which makes it a complete software. In the end, the design of a pulper with a capacity of 2.5 kg per minute, which has a system of blades and a vibrating screen for the separation of granadilla pulp, has been successfully achieved thanks to a calculation process that meets the required specifications.
