Good circular economy practices in agro-exporting companies in Lambayeque-Peru: An approach to sustainability

Resumen

This article presents the results of a quantitative research with a descriptive approach, which aims to identify the good practices carried out by Lambayeque agroexporters in the framework of the circular economy and their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. The sample consisted of 16 agroexporters selected through non-random convenience sampling. Aiken’s V coefficient was used to assess the validity of the data, obtaining a value of 0.95, and Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient was used to measure reliability, with a result of 0.85. The results show an approach to good practices in circular economy through design in production, use, consumption of resources for production, waste management and good practices in circular economy aimed at educational and social policies. Although the need to continue working on these practices is identified.
