Resumen
We present results for a near-surface geophysical survey performed in and around the agricultural fields in Majes, Peru to understand the relationship between geology, irrigation, and landslide activity. Surveys for the field campaign include seismic, ground penetrating radar, transient EM, and DC resistivity methods. Surveys were primarily performed: (1) above the primary El Zarzal landslide; (2) perpendicular to the Majes-Siguas cliff where significant water seepage is observed; and (3) across the Siguas Valley where the geology is similar but without agricultural activity. We provide here a subset of these data and their preliminary interpretation, specifically DC resistivity and TEM, with the associated presentation to include the full results and integrated interpretation.
