Gender violence in the love relationship of in students of Universidad Peruana, city of Piura

Resumen

This research was carried out with the objective of determining the main forms of violence that occur in the love relationship of students of the Cesar Vallejo University, Piura Campus, which serves as a tool to propose prevention policies against gender violence and, in addition, is an alternative to address this problem in accordance with current national and international standards. For the sample, adolescents belonging to the law school of the César Vallejo University, Piura Campus, who meet the following inclusion criteria were selected: Adolescents over 17 years of age, regularly registered from the II cycle of studies, willing to answer the questionnaires. The sample consisted of a total of 171 students. The methods and techniques used in the present research were analysis, synthesis, inductive method, and hypothetical deductive method, since the forms of gender violence in the love relationships of the students of the University César Vallejo, will try to be demonstrated form this population. The survey technique and documentary analysis were used in order to obtain data related to the variables of the problem. It is considered that one of the main causes of gender violence is due to economic dependence as well as the situation of maintaining the relationship for the children. It is concluded that within the forms of violence that are expressed in the relationship of love between adolescents, the attitudes of control towards the couple are highlighted. © (2024), (Universidad de Caldas).
