Resumen
School violence is a persistent phenomenon in Latin American educational systems whose understanding requires approaches integrating historical, social, and institutional dimensions. This article aimed to critically analyze the historical configuration of school violence in a Local Educational Management Unit (UGEL) in the Lambayeque region and to examine the relevance of a preventive education plan as a contextualized institutional response. The study adopted a qualitative approach with a phenomenological-propositive design based on testimonies from school principals. The findings revealed school violence as a multifaceted phenomenon involving physical, verbal, and psychological aggression, as well as exclusionary practices linked to family, community, and institutional trajectories. Expert validation confirmed the coherence and feasibility of the preventive plan.
