Resumen
The global crisis is a structural phenomenon, conditioned by a series of problems and challenges that encompass all regions of the planet. They include political, economic, war events, natural disasters, health catastrophes, among other aspects. In the Latin American context, the region has suffered a series of challenges, which have been accentuated in recent decades, through migration, economic deterioration, internal conflicts, economic recession, the Covid-19 pandemic, to name a few. In the specific case of Peru, there is evidence of a marked fight against foreign interventionism, against capitalism, terrorist associations, violence, corruption, authoritarian regimes, without losing sight of the search and protection of Human Rights. In light of the above, this research aims to analyze the role of the crisis in Latin America and its negative impact on the ways of guaranteeing Human Rights and access to them. The method used is hermeneutic-documentary. The conclusion is that Latin America and Peru need to move towards inclusive progress, towards the rescue of Human Rights, closing the social gaps that characterize the region.
