FIRST RECORD OF PREDATION OF RHINELLA CF. EXOSTOSICA (BUFONIDAE) BY LEPTODEIRA APPROXIMANS (COLUBRIDAE)

Resumen

We document the first recorded instance of predation by Leptodeira approximans on Rhinella cf. exostosica. The recent revalidation of L. approximans in the western Amazon basin redefines our understanding of its ecological interactions. Therefore, this observation contributes towards our knowledge of the natural history and trophic ecology of both species.
