Finite element modelling of millimeter waves and the challenges in 5G technology in Peru

Velasquez R.M.A. · Proceedings of the 2022 IEEE 29th International Conference on Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computing, INTERCON 2022 (2022) · DOI: 10.1109/intercon55795.2022.9870136

Resumen

The finite element methodology allows to create a complete evaluation of the non-ionizing radiation and 5G antennas for complex geography, in Peru, the Andean Mountain introduces challenges for the implementation of the 5G, although these systems have been implemented at the national level, there are significant power losses in the measurements by the national inspector. In this research article develops a finite element modelling of a 5G antenna and the analysis of the power density and the problems for the communication and implementation caused by several cells in a common location. Our findings are associated to the power density equivalent, minimum, and maximum values associated to the distance and interference, in order to introduce new consideration in the design of future projects.
