Resumen
Financial inclusion enables more equitable access to basic financial services for the individual and the community. The impact of socioeconomic, geographic and technological determinants of financial inclusion is analyzed through quantitative and probabilistic research using a probit model and data from the National Household Survey. As a result, the head of household and educational level have a significant and positive effect on the availability of savings and credit accounts. It is concluded that socioeconomic, geographic and technological determinants are significant. Public policies for financial inclusion in rural areas should be promoted with emphasis on the female population.
