Resumen
The work was carried out on soil samples from the districts of Echarate, Quellouno, Santa Ana and Maranura of La Convención Cusco in an area of 20 445.4 km2. The objective was to explore the presence of fungi in the root of the Erythroxylum coca plant and the influence of altitude on mycorrhisation in gradient of 800, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600, and 1800 m above sea level. The sampling was stratified simple randomised, native ectomycorrhizal and arbuscular endomycorrhizal fungi have been found colonising the roots of the plant, as well as fungal spores in the rhizosphere on the roots, being the most predominant of the Glomeraceae and Acaulosporaceae families. The height according to Tukey’s test (α = 0.05) was not significant on the intensity of fungal colonisation on the root, a similar case occurred with the invasion of spores on the rhizosphere.
