Resumen
Air renewal in industry is essential to ensure safe and adequate working conditions. However, many extractors have limitations in their suction capacity and air flow distribution. Wind extractors operate using wind energy and are strictly dependent on the availability of air flow, which results in low extraction capacity in conditions of low turbulence. In response to this problem, the aim of this project is to design and build a hybrid system that integrates wind energy and photovoltaic solar energy to improve the performance of an air extractor. A photovoltaic system was implemented to power a motor coupled to the wind extractor shaft, creating a wind-solar system that ensures continuous operation. The results indicate that this new system guarantees a more constant, stable, efficient, and sustainable flow throughout the day.
