Resumen
Structurally; the rock mass is very complex, originated by anisotropic, heterogeneous and discontinuous conditions, in that state, the stresses are transmitted with very varied direction and magnitude; to establish the conditions for the analysis of the stability of the subway excavation, it is important to know the values of the stresses in situ, and their influence. At present, there are several methods to measure in situ stresses, each one with its advantages and disadvantages, and due to their results; we still do not have a reliable technique to know the values of in situ stresses. In this state; the methodology of the Drill Hole Detonation Method is presented to evaluate the direction and magnitude of the in situ stresses, by obtaining and analyzing the radial cracks, and the formulation of equations to obtain: the coefficient k, the direction, and the magnitude of the in situ stresses, in 2D and 3D.
