Resumen
In Peru, many micro and small textile companies continue to operate using manual methods, which considerably limits their productivity compared to the advances in Industry 4.0 technologies. This contrast between artisanal production and automated systems represents a strategic opportunity to modernize the sector, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen its competitiveness in the market. In this context, the Mosqueta Shop company presented serious limitations in its production system, mainly due to the absence of internal wool processing and the lack of machinery to streamline the weaving process. This research focused on the comprehensive evaluation and optimization of Mosqueta Shop's artisanal textile processes, proposing as a solution the conceptual implementation of an automated production line. The design included everything from fiber processing (washing, drying, carding, spinning) to automated weaving and garment storage. Eight specialized machines were technically analyzed, with an estimated investment of S/ 308,000.00, selected based on their impact on efficiency, product quality, and reduction of operating times. As a strategic starting point, the incorporation of the knitting machine was simulated, with significant results: garment production times were reduced from several days to less than 90 minutes, and monthly production reached up to 247 units per model. From a financial perspective, the results were overwhelming. The analysis showed a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/ 951,513.59 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 729.47%, demonstrating a highly profitable investment with low risk and immediate returns. The discounted payback period was estimated at just 1 month and 24 days. Overall, this proposal represents a radical transformation of Mosqueta Shop's artisanal model, consolidating it as a sustainable, efficient, and competitive textile company at the national and international levels.
