Resumen
This research article is a qualitative descriptive work that describes the control of time in the Aymara culture through own cultural elements, such as the behavior of animals, stars and cultural activities that are transmitted from one generation to another as cultural heritage of Peru. This phenomenological and ethnographic study describes, reflects and interprets the practice that the Aymara culture gives to ethnomathematics to control time without using electronic devices such as watches, radios, television, cell phones, etc.; which are used more in urban areas, while in rural ones, it is common to control time without additional devices. Obtaining information was achieved through participatory observation and the application of interviews to the previously selected informants of the elderly residents between women and men from the rural area of Tacna.
