Geronimo C.A.M.; Menéndez F.M.M.; Minaya J.C.L.; Ríos R.H.T. · Revista de Filosofia (Venezuela) (2022) · DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.7297028

Resumen

The topic of knowledge management is broad; It affects the assessment of various social disciplines, whose main purpose lies in the transfer of knowledge and the establishment of strategies in accordance with the growth of the digital society. Although it is true, it is a concept that emerged from the business world, it has been adapted to serve as a response to the par adoxes of globalization, constituting a series of epistemic exchanges, with a peculiar incidence in educational and university contexts, where knowledge is renewed, thinking about their social relevance. With this, it seeks to have an adequate treatment of the knowledge developed in academic spaces, of the exchange of experiences and the reconstruction of knowledge, from which it follows that it is a concept that helps to project the digital society and to make the appearance of the knowledge society feasible. However, social vulnerabilities, asymmetries, exclusion and other social pathologies continue to be elements to be overcome, as is the lack of technological infrastructure in the Latin American and Caribbean region, but despite this, university teaching is capable of to reinvent itself, to walk through knowledge management, consolidating a new teaching-learning model, suitable for the challenges of the 21st century.
