Resumen
In the contemporary global context, entrepreneurship and its culture have become fundamental elements for the socioeconomic development of countries, transcending the mere creation of profitable businesses and integrating a broader set of attitudes, skills, and capabilities oriented toward innovation and problem-solving. This study analyzed the conception and evolution of the concepts of Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Culture, and Culture of Entrepreneurship within the Peruvian context, based on a thorough analysis of 51 postgraduate theses (master's and doctoral) defended at various Peruvian universities. To achieve this, conceptual mapping was employed as a qualitative methodology, allowing for the mapping, analysis, and comparison of the main ideas and approaches that have emerged around these themes over time. The results of the study reveal a marked tendency to prioritize Entrepreneurship from a predominantly economic perspective, focused on the creation of companies and projects with direct financial impact; however, significant limitations were identified concerning the development and promotion of Entrepreneurial Culture, which is more related to the formation of attitudes, competencies, and individual skills oriented toward entrepreneurship. These challenges are particularly evident in the Peruvian educational system, where the necessary strategies to effectively promote and strengthen a genuine entrepreneurial culture have yet to be implemented. Furthermore, the concept of Culture of Entrepreneurship, which involves integrating entrepreneurship into the social and educational fabric, has not yet fully consolidated in Peru. This finding underscores the need to adequately contextualize these concepts and adapt them to the socioeconomic and cultural realities of the country, thereby ensuring that their development effectively contributes to national socioeconomic progress.
