Resumen
The growing interest in linking economic well-being with environmental sustainability has driven the need to incentivize entrepreneurship as a pathway to innovation and sustainability. This study offers a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA 2020 method, with the objective of strengthening the entrepreneurial profile, supported by education, to boost innovative and sustainable business models in Latin America. Forty-three studies published between 2019 and 2024 in the academic database Scopus were reviewed. The results reveal that innovative and sustainable ventures in Latin America are developed by entrepreneurial competencies, which provides motivation and generate solutions to economic, social and environmental challenges, despite implementation barriers. This review highlights the importance of adopting robust education solutions to increase commitment to sustainable entrepreneurship and suggests key areas for future research in this field. © LEIRD 2025.All rights reserved.
