Resumen
is the Fourth Industrial Revolution, also referred to as Industry 4.0, is spearheaded by bringing together cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and automation. But the growing usage of these technologies has resulted in a tremendous surge in energy usage in industrial processes. With the world needing to become more sustainable, there is a demand for an energy-efficient automation framework for Industry 4.0. This research presents an AI-based energy-efficient automation framework for Industry 4.0. The framework uses the synergy of reinforcement learning, deep learning, and evolutionary algorithms to maximize energy efficiency in industrial processes. The AI algorithms process sensor real-time data and other industrial equipment data to make smart decisions on energy consumption. The system has a predictive maintenance feature that detects possible wastage of energy and prevents faults, thus optimizing the general efficiency of the system. The automation system also embeds energy management systems to track and regulate energy consumption in real time.
