Kaur G.; Bharathiraja N.; Singh K.D.; Veeramanickam M.R.M.; Rodriguez C.R.; Pradeepa K. · Artificial Intelligence and Society 5.0: Issues, Opportunities, and Challenges (2024) · DOI: 10.1201/9781003397052-18

Resumen

Due to enormous dependence on digital technology, many companies across the globe are facing trouble with cyber-assaults and cyber threats. The main motive of cyber-assaults and threats is to harm corporations financially and gain access to confidential information. In various scenarios, cyber-assaults have political and international motivations. They tend to damage PCs with viruses, search vulnerabilities, and different assault vectors are used. With the scale of the cyber threat continuing to rise, the International Corporation for Data has predicted that worldwide expenditure on cybersecurity solutions will cross $140 billion by 2022. Governments across the sphere are responding to these rising cyber threats by helping organizations implement effective cybersecurity practices. Cybersecurity uses real-time tools to find vulnerabilities. The networks that are vulnerable to attacks require stringent security tools. Several strategies have come up from researchers across the international world to save organizations from cyber-assaults or lower the harm caused by them. The aim of this chapter is to present a state-of-the-art survey and a comprehensive review of cyber protection tools. In addition to this, the latest trends in cyber protection, protection threats, and security challenges in Society 5.0 are presented.
