Resumen
The objective of this article is to analyze the electric field compensation technology for the reduction of atmospheric discharges in Peru. This is a new technology whose purpose is to balance the existing field in its environment. "A balanced charge will not create a condition for a lightning strike by nullifying the formation of the upward tracer, neutralizing the possibility of discharge". The principle of operation of this type of technology invented by Nikola Tesla in 1918 in his patent No. 1 266 175, which was based on passive sensors of electro atmospheric charges, balancing the atmosphere of charges that could form the lightning, making impossible the formation of the upward tracer, suggesting that lightning rods instead of protecting property and people were a danger to society. This type of technology, like many others, has the objective of protecting people, animals and structures in terrestrial installations and open field facilities against any electrical phenomenon whose means of transport is the air, taking into account that the system behaves passively at the level of prevention.
