El tipo de cambio de corto plazo en el Perú

Resumen

Exchange rate, the interest rate, the monetary policy, country risk and the expectatives over the exchange rate are variables closely related; but in a dolarized economy with free capital flow and a controlist central bank, how occur the adjustment between such variables, how affect it the external and internal conjuncture and, practically make more difficult to establish these adjustment by the own dynamic character. These questions try to be answered through the analysis of the Peruvian experence since 1998 until the electoral process of april 2001.
