Resumen
This study aimed to evaluate the dietary effect of yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) postbiotic plus dehydrated camu camu (Myrciaria dubia) on growth performance and immune function of broiler chickens using five treatments: basal diet (DB), DBB (BD + 500 mg/kg bacitracin methylene disalicylate, BMD), DBP (DB + 1 g/kg postbiotic), DBPCC (DBP + 200 mg/kg M. dubia) and DBPCD (DBP + decreasing doses of M. dubia). The results showed that in the DBB, DBPCC and DBPCD groups the weight and feed efficiency of chickens increased (p<0.05). The addition of postbiotic + M. dubia reduced (p<0.05) the weight of the bursa of Fabricius and improved (p<0.05) the antibody titres against infectious bronchitis, Newcastle and Gumboro. In conclusion, the postbiotic of S. cerevisiae + M. dubia could replace BMD in broiler diets without altering normal growth and promoting broiler immune function. ©Los autores.
