Resumen
This study evaluates the effect of the Soil Nano Stabilisation 360 (SNS 360) additive on the bearing capacity of cohesive soils used in road subgrades in the Pucará-Pampa Grande section, Chota, Cajamarca (Peru). An experimental methodology was applied using soil samples collected from seven test pits, from which three representative samples were selected based on their geotechnical properties. Two additive dosages (0.025% NLF + 0.5% NPF and 0.045% NLF + 1.5% NPF) were evaluated through Modified Proctor and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) tests. Results indicate that the application of SNS 360 increased the maximum dry density up to 1.951 g/cm3 and reduced the optimum moisture content to 12.27%, improving compaction efficiency. Furthermore, the CBR values increased significantly, ranging from 2.5 to 6.34 times compared to natural soil conditions, reaching values of up to 37.40%. A descriptive statistical analysis, including mean and standard deviation, confirmed the consistency and reliability of the experimental results. These findings demonstrate that SNS 360 is an effective alternative for improving the mechanical behavior of low-strength cohesive soils, contributing to more efficient and sustainable road infrastructure design.
