Resumen
This paper studies the effect of granting credit to small and medium-sized enterprises on employment informality in Peru. In the estimation, probability models were used with information from the National Household Survey for the annual period 2018–2022. The results indicate that credit has an inverse effect on employment informality. Household savings and education level also influence the reduction of employment informality in Peru. © (2025), (Universidad Nacional de Colombia). All rights reserved.
