Resumen
In the Province of Chanchamayo, Valencia orange production is threatened by the incidence of pests and diseases that affect the production and quality of the fruit. Balanced nutrition is an alternative to keep trees productive and mitigate damage from pests and diseases. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of different doses of fertilizers in three agro-ecological zones of Chanchamayo. This trial was carried out between January and December 2016, in three commercial orange plantations, Valencia variety, 10 years old, located in the populated centers of Yurinaki, Kivinaki and La Florida. Five treatments including the control were studied and a Completely Random Block Design (DBCA) was applied with 3 repetitions. Each experimental unit had 21 plants, in 3 rows of 7 plants each. Significant differences were found in the incidence of pests for the fertilization levels studied in the three locations. But I can see a trend towards a greater amount of fertilizers, the less the presence of these pests. In conclusión, the quality of the orange is related to the weight, diameter and degrees of brix per plant. The localities of yurinaki, Kivinaki and Florida, presented the highest weights, diameter, Brix degrees of fruit and yield with treatment 5 (N1050 P2 05450 K2 01050).
