Alvarado-García P.A.A.; Soto-Vásquez M.R. · Medicina Naturista (2021)

Resumen

This research aimed to evaluate the effect of a pilot online mindfulness meditation program on levels of perceived stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. A randomized controlled study was carried out, with 60 participants divided into a control group and an experimental group. The Perceived Stress Scale PSS-10 was used to assess stress levels. The results evidenced statistically significant differences (p<0.05) in the reduction of stress levels in the experimental group after the intervention, denoting a moderate reduction in stress levels (d=0.61).
