Resumen
Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) enables students at any educational level to make informed decisions and act individually or collectively to achieve societal change and care for the environment. In a mixed-methods research study, which analyzed graduate students in teaching through statistical and content analysis, it was found that the appreciation of Learning and Knowledge Technologies (LKT) when implementing ESD is associated with didactic evaluations, learning, and collaboration. This contributes to the development of critical thinking, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, which are valued for their contribution to ethical citizenship education, preparing individuals to be agents of change and to face challenges related to climate change and environmental risks. This makes education for sustainability a continuous learning process that contributes to achieving quality education in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
