Resumen
The aim of this study is to analyze, synthesize, and categorize recent scientific evidence on emerging technologies in museum education. A PRISMA-compliant systematic review was conducted using Scopus and Web of Science, including 42 studies evaluated using CASP and GRADE. The results show that virtual museums and 2D and 3D digital museums are the most established technologies, particularly in terms of accessibility. Augmented reality and virtual reality stand out in immersive experiences and experiential learning, while artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and social robotics form an emerging trend linked to personalization. From a pedagogical standpoint, these technologies contribute to four key dimensions: Accessibility, immersion, personalization, and engagement. Museum education is evolving toward an eco-pedagogical ecosystem in which technological, pedagogical, and institutional dimensions converge, bringing together AI, digital humanism, robotics, affective computing, and quantum computing to create an intelligent, affective, and quantum museum education.
