Resumen
This research examines the artisanal use of local recycled materials to create an ecological panel with thermal properties, consisting of recycled cardboard, guaipe, gypsum, and an additive. Employing a quasi-experimental, quantitative methodology, the study analyzes the panel's physical, mechanical, and thermal characteristics. Results show that a panel made with 40% recycled cardboard and textile fibers, combined with 60% gypsum and water, demonstrates low thermal conductivity, which is advantageous for temperature regulation and heat loss reduction. The study demonstrated the effectiveness of the material in humid environments and its fire benefits, despite it being flammable. It also achieved better thermal optimization.
